The Fire Cadets Summer Youth Program incorporates the straight "A's" in life program. The cadets are trained on what is expected of fire fighters and how to be socially and academically prepared for life.

Ghana, West Africa
Members of the School of Life Foundation executive management team recently met with Baako Wahabu of Ghana, West Africa. Mr. Wahabu accepted the position as Chancellor of Ghana for the foundation. Mr. Wahabu will organize and lead the efforts to launch the "Straight A's in Life" program in his country.

School of Life Foundation founder, Jack Rolfe, participated as a guest speaker at the 2008 Michigan Teen Conference. This event was sponsored by Lutheran Social Services of Michigan, Michigan Federation for Children and Families, and the Michigan Department of Human Services, Youth in Transition. In attendance were teenage foster care youth, foster care parents, and staff representatives from every foster care organization in the state of Michigan.
