A tax-deductible contribution to the School of Life Foundation qualifies businesses to receive training for employees. These trainings are based on the core "A" principles taught in the workbook, Learn to School Your Toughest Opponent. The interactive, enthusiastic workshops are conducted by experienced professionals who understand the need for application of fundamental values at work while living in the school of life. I recently attended a School of Life training seminar for business owners and leaders. Working in the hotel and hospitality industry for 28 years I have been present at numerous workshops. I learned more about Appreciation, Assisting and Aim in two hours from the School of Life Foundation then I have in all my years of meetings combined! This is a letter of endorsement as a result of the training performed by Mr. Rolfe and his staff to our workforce in the Cedar and St. George, Utah areas. The course was titled: "Learn to School Your Toughest Opponent, Achieve Straight A's in The School of Life."
I appreciated the opportunity this training gave me to evaluate the life skills and interpersonal traits of our employees. As a management team we evaluated the values we wanted addressed within our workforce. We chose, "Appreciate," "Attitude" and "Adapt." The training was very applicable for the specific concerns we were able to address.
After the training, I received several visits from employees stating, the course had helped them evaluate their relationships with coworkers. The attitude within our office has improved. One specific employee mentioned that the course had helped them approach a situation at home with one of their children.
I have also used the training workbook in staff meetings and in employee evaluations as a resource. Life skills are the foundation of relationships. Relationships and teamwork are critical to our work place. Good relationships result in successful business. I believe in this curriculum and will continue apply the straight A's in my life and within our workforce.
